Removal climate control unit
 

I have a 1998 E300D. The light flickers in the electronic climate control unit on the dash. There are two small horizontal slits on the bottom on both sides of the unit. (Same for the radio). Anyone know the part number for the pullers, or is there something I can make to pull the unit out.

A/C and radio puller
 

Well, here is the answer to my own question on how to get the A/C unit and radio out of a 1998 E 300D; It is a removal tool made by Becker part # 963 589 01 0500. It is two keys that go in the slots at the bottom of the radio and A/C unit, snap into place, and allows the units to be pulled out. Takes 2 seconds.
