I have a 1991 300CE with 113m. I have been wrestling with what was a flickering SRS light that is now on continuously. After checking the boards, I’ve checked the contact rings and contacts, checked the seat belts and underneath the seats. Someone mentioned low voltage so I need to check the battery and voltage regulator. Someone else mentioned to wiggle the ignition key and this actually seemed to work…for a day or two anyways but then back to solid on for the light. My ignition tumbler/housing seems to be loose and sloppy. Could this be causing the SRS light problem? In replacing the tumbler, is the ignition switch also close by to replace? Any other ideas before I take it to Mr MB?
TIA
