THERE IS NO ROOM BETEEN MAIN CRANKSHAFT PULLEY AND RADIATOR----GOING TO DO TAPPETS ----WOULD MAKE IT A LOT EASIER IF I COULD CONNECT REMOTE STARTER UNDER HOOD---CAN ANYBODY TELL ME THE BEST PLACE TO FIX ONE--THANKS IN ADVANCE SYD

The thermo-time switch at the front of the intake has a direct connection to the starter, if I remember the connector has W & #9 on the plug side. Putting 12V on 1 of the connectors will allow you to "bump" the engine over. Putting power to the other connector won't hurt anything.

M.B.DOC can I take it the switch you mention is the one in the cooling water circuit???---and are you saying connect positive side of battery to remote and other side of remote to thermo time switch plug??? thanks for reply--- syd
