400E's Foglights acting weird

Hello folks...
Tried the search to no avail. 92 400E: for a year or so, I've had PIAA SuperWhites in the foglights. Everything has been fine. Yesterday, the Fogs quit working. Burned Fuse. Replaced fuse and burns instantly when turning on the fogs. Replaced the 8A fuse with a 16A, works fine but fuse gets really hot after 2-3 minutes. Im not going to keep the 16A in for fear of catching my car on fire. Obviously, I have a short, right? Anyone know where to start?
THanks in advance...Peter

...oh, and by the way: my power antenna stoped working the same day. Could the 2 possibly be related?

THX...Peter

are those over-wattage? if so MOST likely that's your problem.

try some 55 watt h3's and see if this makes a difference.

let us know

examine all the wiring and connections at the headlight unit and trace from there

a guess would be that over a prolonged period of time the extra heat build up has [slowly] taxed your wiring and [hopefully not] part of your electrical system.

i am not a professional tech.

can you have your mechanic look at it or if the car is a keeper maybe m.b. check it out.

i used to run 80/100 watt h4 bulbs, 9 months. i got paranoid and cut back, just to be safe.
