Repair manual 300CE

Any ideas on where to get a repair manual for 300CE?
Haynes doesn't make one for this model and I'm not ready
to purchase one from MB for $200.00.
Thanks for your time.

Pretty sure you'll have to spring for the green at the dealer, or save a couple dollars and get the CD-Rom version right here at PartsShop .

The Haynes manuals gets bashed alot here, but I have it as well as just about everything else that's ever been produced.

If all your looking to do is basic maint - fluids, filters, belts, hoses, etc., the Haynes manual is ok.

You also have the wisdom of this list. The SEARCH facility here will provide you with all sorts of good info.

The Hayes Manuals are regularly offered on ebay, as are all manners of cds. These must be bootleg cds as they only go for $10. I bought one of the other manuals offered on ebay for $35. Titled "Mercedes W124, 1985-1995 and is about 300 pages. Covers models 200,200e,e200,e220,220e,230e,260e,e280,280e,e300,300e,300e-24,e320 and 320e, and comes all the way from Great Britain in a big plastic gunny sack.

Betley Guide

The Mercedes E-Class Owners Bible published by Bentley is much
better than Haynes. Although not exclussive for the CE model, it is very good. ISBN 0-8376-0230-0
