190E can seal leak -- synthetic switch

Switched to Mobil 1 in daughter's 190E 2.6 [70,000 miles] and now have a very small leak (overnight dime-sized drip) from cam seal (may or may not be related to synthetic switch?) -- I believe that it is the U-shaped seal.

Can this wait 3,000 miles to next oil change or should it be done sooner?

Is there anything else that we should do as long as the seal is being replaced (car runs fine with no noticeable oil usage)?

Thanks.
