300SDL window regulator mystery

I'm trying to fix a window that seems to have a working motor, but goes up and down crooked, and won't close more than halfway.

After having a heck of a time trying to remove the door panel, I finally got in. I then realized that I don't have a haynes manual for this car (I drive a 300D) and I don't know what I'm doing

A picture says a thousand words. The top photo shows the bottom of the door. The yellow arrow shows that the motor, when you try to raise the window, swings to the right, and eventually hits something and stops. The red arrow shows a hole, which looks like it lines up with a bolt on the motor. Is that supposed to be bolted down there?

The lower picture shows some "spare parts" that I found lying inside the door. Do you know where they belong? I sure as heck don't.

Thanks for the help!

Because parts are broken, you may have to loosen all of the bolts that hold the regulator down. Then slide it to the side and find the clips that hold it to the window glass.

Next pull the window to the top and tape it up. Then remove the regulator and install a new one from FASTLANE!
