Trunk lid 201 chassis
 

Well, I found out the hard way that two mounted and two loose tires will NOT fit into a trunk of a 190D (two wheels and one tire will). As I loaded the trunk and tried to close the lid, the driver's side lid support snapped at the weld. I screw it back on for now, but I'd like it repaire. Unfortunately, it's aluminium, so finding a shop that can fix it will be tough.

Can somebody describe (briefly) how to remove the lid mount off the chassis??
