It looks like early and late speedo faces within a specific chassis (e.g., 107) are just held on with two screws and could be interchanged easily.

It also looks, though, like the needle much be removed first. Is that just a friction fit (i.e., pull the needle off, change the faceplates, and push the needle back on), or is there more to it?
