need help quickly - charcoal filte
 

can someone please tell me how difficult it is to remove the charcoal filter in a 2001 clk 320....all of the plastic pieces around the console have already been removed...

The microfilter comes out from under the passenger side under-dash panel. Takes about 5-10 minutes

thanks, is there somewhere that i can find additional information on exactly how to remove it? the side plastic panel is already removed. what tools are necessary? i take it, it comes out from the inside of the vehicle and not the engine compartment? any assistance would be great.

one more thing...how hard is it to pull the filter from behind the glove box?

With the passenger under-dash panel removed you release a plastic support & the filter will come out. THERE isn't any filter behind the glove box like a W210 chassis. This system is just like a W202 chassis C-class.

just use the "edit" or "delete" button next time you need to get your foot out of any bodily orifices and no one will ever know...
