There's a bug in my vin#...

...literally, there's a dead moth stuck in the little space where my vin# is. It's caught wedged between the glass and the vin# plate and I have NO idea how to get it out. Is there an easy way to go about getting rid of it, or is this gonna be difficult?
Also, how could it have gotten in there?
