transmission noise or?

My 99 C230 sport makes minor clunking noise when it goes to stop. The noise was much louder before the dealer replaced the transmission modular and I remember a previous post says that a new ECU might help to solve the problem. I would like to hear from your opinions.

i think when it goes over bumps, it will clunk too.
