95-E320 cleaning EGR passages

Can the egr passages of the 104 motor be cleaned without removing the intake manifold? I know a carboned egr is a common problem. The DIY section only shows how to clean the C280. I don't feel comfortable just running a cable to knock the crud off. Is there a way to disassemble the related parts for more thorough cleaning without removing the intake? My car is in storage for the winter season. I'd like to do this before it may become a problem and I'm willing to go the extra effort for thorough cleaning.

While I'm at it, I'd like to know how to clean the throttle body. I just got this car last summer, and I have a feeling a lot of these things have never been done.
