i installed a new outside key lock and the driverside door does not lock. The new tumbler was installed correctly and the guide pin is in the proper way, however the door still does not lock.Any further information?

From the inside with the inner door panel removed, you will be able to see the lock assy. The rod that goes from the tumbler to the assy could be off.
