I had the rear sunshade replaced about 2 months ago, it was stuck in the up position. Can you believe that it is stuck again in the up position. Is there a recall on these motors that keep going bad? Has anyone else had this problem? Maybe the bass in the music causes the motor to go bad?????

I had the exact same problem on my '98 E430. They replaced the whole unit. The MB Tech I talked to said he has seen several fail.

I am not aware of any recall as yet.
