Grill P/N Question
 

I am having a bit of a problem in finding out what the proper P/N grill my 1987 420SEL needs. This car has the secondary hood release latch within the body of the grill (kind of looks like a 'missing tooth' on the pas side)
The problem comes in that the same part number grill shows as effective for my 1984 300SD that has the releases adjacent to the grill (no 'missing tooth' so to speak)
???
I know they are different grills, but they show up as the same part number in every web site I've been to (including this one...)

MB part number 126-888-04-23 is correct.

The 1984 car uses MB # 126-888-00-23.
