Tranny fluid for 190e

I am having alittle trouble shifting my 190e 2.3 8v with 5 speed manual trans. I figured that if i change my transmission fluid, shifting through the gears would be easier, plus I don't know weither the previous owner even changed the fluid at all.
Does anyone know what transmisson fluid I chould use, and how much of it I will need? Also, how do I change the transmission fluid? I can find the plug where I can drain the fluid, but I don't see where I fill the transmission.
