What type of Torque wrench is it?1/4..3/8..1/2..Brand?
if Its a Snap On Call your Local Snap on Dealer...
Same if its a Craftsman take it to Sears..
Its a Good Idea to have it recalibrated every year..

what brand?

Ed Richardson 11-15-2002 08:41 PM

It is a 1/2" Proto purchased in 1957. Never been recalibrated, however, I have not used it in the last 30 years. Neither Sears nor Snap On will take it in. Team Torque and Angel Repair show up on the internet, but I don't know anything about them. Ed

found this link at SAE's (sae.org) website:

http://www.sts.sae.org/servicetech/july-2001/tech-tidbits-04.pdf

the article mentions Team Torque, so if the Society of Automotive Engineers think they're okay...
