Left drivers mirror won't go back together properly
 

I took apart my drivers mirror last night becuase the movement mechanism was seized, a little oil and voila it moves again. I put it back together, but two things are not right:

1. the little ball goes into the socket but pops out everytime I adjust it. It's as if the socket was too large (or the ball too small).

2. The mirror housing sticks out straight sideways as opposed to having an aerodynamic rearward tilt that it should have.

Any Ideas?

Anyone know where I can get some of those small mirrors the DTM series used? Thanks.
