SRS Crash Sensor

I just got a used SRS Crash Sensor for my 1987 300D, since the SRS light is on all the time. I assume just unplugging the old and plugging in the new (with the battery disconnected) should be all I need to do. Is this true?

Also, the cord is about 3.5 ft long. Where does the red 10 pin plug go?
