I need to replace the driving lights bulbs on my 86 MB300E. The book says to use 9004 bulbs but does not mention wattage. The old bulbs also don't mention wattage. Are 9004 bulbs always the same wattage? (If so, what is it?)
The reason I ask is because I have seen a slew of 9004 bulbs to choose from with various letter suffixes and special purposes (like Philips Weather Vision 9004WV for snow/rain, etc.) and I don't know if any of them could replace my stock bulbs without damaging the wiring or melting something else. |
