Increasing Fog Lamp Wattage
 

I drive a '92 300E. Has anyone tried using 110 Watt bulbs instead of the standard 55 Watt bulbs in the fog lamps? I tried it, but the 8 amp fuse blew when I also kicked on the rear fog lamp.

What if I step up the fuse to a higher amp rating? How dangerous is it to run the higher wattage bulbs? Is there a danger of overburdening the wiring/electrical system by doing this?

Are there any bulbs on the market between 55 and 110 Watts that replace the Osram bulb?
