driver's side power window died-190e
 

the driver side power window suddenly stopped working.

checked the console switches by swapping them over-still not working-therefore not a faulty window lifter switch

could it be the motor?

not likely as good quality parts on the benz.

checked fuses in fuse box-the fuse for the window was blown!!-why ,i do not know.Replaced with a spare one-window working again!!

moral of the story-always check the easiest fix first which in this case was the fuse.
