1994 S 420 vibration in body at low speed

need help in diagnosing vibration in seats and center console at a speed of 42- 48 mph. this vibe will dissapear completely at about 60 mph. heres what has been done to correct. motor mounts were leaking and replaced also trans mount, sterring stabilizer wheels were balanced correctly on the state of the art balancer that everyone has been speaking about vibes persist.
driveshaft center support in good shape vehicle has a real 65K only . some thoughts re garding : i have been told the lower control arm bushes dont think so! i read on apost here that the driveshafts were problematic and being replaced under warranty have not been able to confirm???? possibility. all bolts in the couplings have been checked for tightness and couplings show up normal could use some input here do not want to continue experementing on what should have been solved with the motor mount replacement....HELP!!!!!!!!: my email is
victoriacarriages@hotmail.com thanking you in advance for any help and thanking the site for its long reach into the world of gremlin correction!!!!lol.

If the driveshaft has ever been pulled down for ANY reason such as; flexdisc, u-joint, center bearing, etc., it could very well have come apart at the spline accidentally and put back into place in the wrong position.

To maintain proper driveshaft balance, it should be marked before sliding the spline apart so that it could be put back in the same position. But, sometimes, they will come apart accidentally and no attention is paid to its original position when reassembling.

If this is the case, you can pull it apart, rotate it 180 degrees and probably get much closer to proper balance. You might find paint markings that you can line up, or you might have to take it completely out and take it to a driveshaft shop where they can spin balance it and find the proper relationship of the two shafts.

Good luck,
