Eastcoat MB junkyard??
Does anyone now of a good junkyard or used parts supplier in the East?
I am looking for several pieces and do not want to break the bank at ParsShop. Thanks. |
Thanks, Black. For anyone else that is interested, I pulled this info off the Yellow Pages:
Potomac German Auto 4305 Lime Kiln Road, Frederick, MD 21703 (301) 831-1313 |
I know of Potomic German Auto in Maryland ;)
Regards, Don |
What are you looking for? There's a pull your own junkyard about 10 miles from me with no fewer than 20 MB diesels, as well as a couple of gas cars. Not many motors, but lots of other parts in great condition. Parts are super cheap as they do nothing other than ring you up.

Sounds like a great place to be around the corner from. I have a 124 that is in need of antenna motor and the left front headlight lens. Do they have 124s there?
|
maybe...
I'm not sure if there are any 124's there or not. I was only looking at 123's and did not pay any attention to anything else. I'll check it out next time I'm there (maybe today). I'll let you know...

Why limit yourself to the East Coast?
Welcome to the global marketplace! I have had really good luck with: http://www.uneedapart.com/ Your mailbox magically fills up with quotes from all over the country + Canada. A search for an alternator recently returned 100+ quotes, with a huge variance in terms (price/quality/warranty). I got a phenomenal deal. There are dozens of similar services, but I have found uneedapart to be the best so far. This is the internet at it's finest. |
