Trunk Lid Release Switch
I have 97 E420. I want to know about the trunk release switch. Is it suppose to pop open if i hit it while i am driving. I thought that it only opens while the car in park...

Yes, it will work at all times, as long as it isn't broke and the battery isn't dead.
