After replacing the battery and still having the car not start (engines turns over one time usually) I take it back to the shop and my mechanic believes the trouble lies with the DAS. His diagnostic computer doesn't read all systems and am wondering if there is some knowledge here to help solve this problem.

I was reading the search threads and I checked my smartkey for a rattle and it does have a small rattle. Could it just be the key? I only have one.
