Hello
What is the normal pressure in the top coolant hose going to the radiator, with the engine running? My engine, 300D turbo, runs a bit hot (95-100 C) and I'm trying to see if the thermostat would need replacing. Squeezing the hose with engine running and the temp in the 90s I feel no pressure in the hose. I would expect pressure from the water going to the radiator. Any other ways to check for a thermostat malfuntion? Thanks in advance. Nicolas ------------------ 1982 300D - http://members.xoom.com/nicodore/ |
