C220 Door Panel Removal

I have a W202 (1996 C220). I am trying to remove the driver's side door panel. I have done a search and found out some information, but I am still unclear on a couple of items. So far this is what I know.
o There are 9 snap in clips around the periphery of the panel.
o There is a screw on the latch plate and one behind a plastic button on the side of the large door pull.
o I have to pull out the power seat buttons.
I am still confused if there are any more hidden screws. Is there one behind the chrome door latch? If so how do I remove that small plastic panel. Are there any others? This car is pristine. I would hate to mess up the interior.:)

Take a look in the DIY section at the top of the page for "check strap replacement". It should be about the same.

Thanks Jim for the quick reply. I was hoping for the specifics for the W202. I will have to take your word that they are the same.

on the new cars, i believe the panels unclip at the bottom and then slide UP.

edit... yes, there should be a screw behind the chrome handle. the cover comes off with a small flat blade screw driver.

the grab handle might turn 90 degrees or have a screw underneath. sorry, it's been a while and not sure of your particular car.

Thanks guys. I think I have enough information to give it a try. The reason I want to remove the panel is because of a clunking noise when I lower the power window.
