Just did this project. Backs came off very easily--maybe they had been removed before. I took some pictures. One of the pictures shows a tool I made out of an allen wrench. Tool was very effective in pulling upholstry out of seat back channel. Hope this helps someone else.

Yes I was screaming that. The pics helped out. I spent 1 1/2 hr trying to jerk that stupid back panel down thinking that is slid out. After seeing the pics gently pryed out one side flipped it to the side 1 ss/hose clamp late and back in business. I cannot wait to find some useful info to share with everyone! Thank you

i just picked up the headrest hight adjustment piece in the seat for $2 at a parts-pull yard.
