Where to find ASR defeat switch?
 

I am looking for an ASR defeat switch for my 92 500E and so far I only found it at either Performance Products or RENNTec. The problem I am having is the price it seems a little steep for the product ($475). Can anyone tell me where I can find one for less.

If you get the one from Performance Products be prepared to wait for a long time. Mines has been on order with them since Thanksgiving and it has still not arrived. :rolleyes:

I am getting which ever one is ready the soonest. Either Carl's or Performance Products (if it ever shows up).:mad:

i've heard mixed responses about the performance products switch

i'm not so sure i'd "settle" for it, i'm gonna wait and see what bergwerks has to offer :)

The Performance Products siwtch does work, people complain about instructions that come with it and the nasty/ugly switch they include with it. If my ASR form Performance Products ever shows up I am going to switch out the switch that they use with one off of a SL500 (hopefully).

I just got an email from Carl stating this his ASR Defeat solution is working. He needs to do one more thing, which is fit a switch to it but for the most part it is done. Once I get some time I am trotting my a$$ down there and getting it installed. Which should be in the next few weeks or so.
