Cool New here and have a few questions

Hi all I'm new here, just recently found this great site. I have a few questions, I recently bought an '89 560sel everything is perfect just a few misunderstandings I still cannot figure out the whole climate control system (I do not have the owners manual) When my heater is on heat only comes out from the left and right vents and not from the middle ones, is that the way it should be? I am thinking of putting on 18 inch AMG monoblok rims, will I have any problem since they are bigger than the standard ones? Also I am looking for a factory wooden steering wheel with airbag, not those plain wooden wheels that you can buy at an auto store, does anyone know where I can find one and about how much will it run me? Sorry for the long post.

Thanks in advance.

mike

That is correct on the hot air coming out of the outer vents. In addition, it should be coming out of the footwells too. When you run the a/c in cold setting it should then come out of the dash vents and not the footwell.
Can't help with the other questions.

You should be able to pick up an owners manual on Ebay.

Or call 1-800-FOR MERC for a brand new owner's manual from MB.
