Need E320 Head Rebuild Advice

As long as I have the head out of the car, should I replace the valve stem seals? The car has 58,000 miles with no complaints of needing new seals. I'd hate to disturb something that will last a long time.... on the other hand, if half the life is gone from these seals I'd like to replace them now. How good are these seals?
