Please help me clean me clean up my garage..
The rear pan gasket is leaking on 1988 300e, w124, automatic, and am considering replacing gasket myself. Appears to be five bolts to drop the pan. 1. Do bolts need to be torqued and what tension? 2. Manual probably has specs but reassure me with how much fluid needs to be replaced and best fluid for the job? 3. Should trans filter be swapped while open and can I order filter and gasket from Parts Shop? 4. Anything else to consider??? Thanks for any input... MRH |
