oil pressure 450sl/1973

My oil pressure fluctuates between 10 psi and 35 psi . Is this acceptable if not ,what should it be ?, and the recommended repair. Thanks

If the pressure fluctuates while you are at a steady RPM you probably have a serious oil pump problem or perhaps a faulty gage. If the pressure goes up and down along with the RPMs, well, that is normal.
