Europa sent me the parts to do my valve stem seals. I got seals and a valve cover gasket. You said no adjustment is necessary if I return the parts to their original place. I assume this means that the adjustment is done with shims and the rocker nuts just need to be torqued to the proper spec. Should I bother checking the clearances if it goes back together with no problems? I also had them send me a seal kit for the front axle. I'm not real sure how much grease should show on the big ball joints. This looks like a bigger job requiring a dial indicator to set bearing play, and a special crowned socket to remove the nuts holding the hub on. Do you have any experience with this? I'll be going through Santa Fe in a few weeks and may just have them tackle the front axle.

The valve stem seals are a much bigger deal to do than the front axel seals. The front axel seals have big bolts with little room for error. The valve stem seals have little parts with a big margin for a catistrophic(sp?) ERROR. Be careful. I have done both jobs myself and went to my 50k plus dollar tool set many many times for special tools...
