Help with Front Side Marker Bulbs
 

Before I start. . . Hello there. . . a newbie in this forum.

I recently replaced the factory front sidemarkers bulbs on my 93 400SEl (clear corners) with an aftermarket 1157 amber/orange bulbs. Everything seems to be working except for one thing. . . . When I engaged the Hazard Light, they don't flash.

Engaging the turn signal lever, the bulbs seem to be working fine the way they should be. I am baffled why they work with the turn signal but not with the hazard.

Questions: Is there a bulb out there that is an exact replacement for the factory bulb? Did a get the single filament bulb by mistake?
