Looking for oil prerssure PSI info.
 

Would someone tell me what my 95 E420 oil pressure should read in PSI or corresponding resistance value? The info I have is for a 6 cylinder cars and not the 4.2L 8 Cylinder I have. Ever since I changed the oil pressure-sending unit, the pressure read seems to be high. I get around 80 PSI at initial start up although it drops down to more “normal” state. I also measured the resistance value at the gauge and it reads 285 ohm when the pressure is at about 80 PSI. This also drops when pressure drops. Is it the sending unit not good or anything to worry about? Thanks.
