trunk won't open
 

Hey guys, i got my 500E back, i go to lock the car from the trunk hole, when i turn the key i hear something snap off, now the trunk won't lock/unlock the doors nor will it open. Is there a manual release or anyway of getting in to the trunk? Thanks!

problem fixed

locking mechanism is broken

the trunk opens and closes perfectly

it will just not lock or unlock

if i lock the doors to the car, i can still open the trunk *Alarm goes off*
