figure this one out.....
 

ASR light has been coming on and when this happens engine idles erratically back and forth between 1000-1500rpm. car drives ok but accelerator pedal travel is like limp home mode, except power is not affected and car seems to have full power...i.e. l can drive the car at 80mph with asr light on, just have to push pedal more.
