Exclamation Need Fuel Sending Unit specs, please

1) Does anyone know what the correct torque is for retightening the fuel sending unit in a 1989 W126? (Prior posts don't specify.)

2) Also, what size socket is correct for performing this procedure? (Some posts say 46mm, others 47mm, still others 1 7/8"--which is almost 48mm.) Given the relatively lofty prices for large sockets, I want to be sure I pick-up the right one!

Thanks to anyone able to drum-up these figures!
