190e Boot Lid Leak???

After a particularly heavy shower, I open the boot lid and whoosh!!!! Water gushes in from the interior (middle) of the boot lid!

Any idea where the heck it's coming from?

This is a similar problem on my bro's Kidbenz (1990 190e 1.8) as well.
