|
while driving my 1980 300 SD with the climate control system on I reached up and pushed the "off" button and right then I heard a muffled "pop" noise sounded like from between the front seats under the car, then when I got home and tried to lock the car the doors locks wouldn't operate and key wouldn't turn

It sounds as if you blew a fuse. I can't believe it was that loud though. I think this will have to be looked at by a tech.
