a/t shifting hard on 93 190e 2.3l
 

Just replaced head gasket and manifold gaskets. Put everything back the way it was, now the car shifts like a hot rod, squals the tires going into 2nd gear and slams into 3rd. I replaced most all of the vacuum hoses and adjusted the shift cable, I can make the problem worse by adjusting the cable, but I can't make it shift smoother, any ideas?
