Mods on heating seat 300SE 89

Anybody know if I can modify the seat heating
so I don't have to turn it on again when the car is restarted. I would like it to come back to its last state when I restart the car. I have a remote start device and in the winter I would like to have the seats warm when I get in the car...

You could do this by using one of the unused features of the remote if one is available. To find out, ask the person who installed it.

MY 83 500SE HAS POSITIVE ACTION SWITCHES WHICH WILL LEAVE THE HEATED SEATS PERMENANTLY ON IF CLICKED INTO ON POSITION(WITH IGNITION ON OF COURSE)MAYBE THESE SWITCHES WHICH ARE STILL AVAILABLE FROM MB CAN REPLACE YOURS WHICH ARE OBVIOUSLY OF A NEWER DESIGN?
