Going to look at an 82 with 180K on it tomorrow. Talking with the owner sounds like it has been maintained well. Anything in particular I should be aware of and check closely? I do not know yet if the timing chain has been upgraded to the dual chain. If not approximately how much trouble and cost to make the change, can the above average DIY accomplish the job in a weekend. Does it require any special tools? If it still has the single chain, with the high mileage is it something I should worry about or since it's lasted this long,it will probably last forever?
