my buzzer won't shut up!
 

I had this problem since i got my car, but now I have some time and I want to fix it up.

I know there is 3 modes to my ignition (190E)

In position 1 nothing works but the buzzers goes on, in position two everything works but the buzzer is still on all the time, in position 3 all that gauges and warning lights come on, here the buzzer will shut up, but this is not where I should be listening to the radio, I dont' need the gauges and lights on to do that.

My question is, why the heck won't my buzzer shut up in mode 2 so I can turn on the radio and listen to it while all the gauges and state lights are off?

Isn't this how it's supposed to be?

Is your door open during all this?

no it is not.

dome light is also off even when it's set to light up when the door is open.

any other ideas?
