380SL Dashboard - Vent On Top Question?
On the top front center of this dash is a 1 1/2" square little vent looking piece. Does anyone know what this is? Is it OK to cover it up (with a Coverlay). Is there any downside to covering it up?

What about these dash covers...
I have an 86 560 SL that has a slight crack by one of the windshield defroster vents...
Are these coverlays decent... I saw one on ebay that mention it had special "edges" that curled under so you could tell it was a coverlay... any thoughts? |
