W201 Exhaust

I've had a slightly ricy sound to my exhaust for the past couple of months on my '91 190E 2.6, so I knew that axe would fall at some point. It fell this past Saturday sitting at a stop light, the car began rough idling and was producing a flatulent sound (not the brrt kind, but the ones that come after considerable bean eating).

The car now vibrates and sounds awful, noises from the front engine compartment sound fine but the back end is loud. Power might be marginally less (or it could be my imagination).

I have yet to crawl underneath it to look for any holes.

Does this sound like the exhaust? How much does the exhaust on this car usually run? Thanks in advance.
