Hello a family member who has a limo company has just bought a fleet of 97 S500's which have come back from leases.. all are identical black/black approx 36-38k miles each.. bought them for $34K each... what he wants to know is if he can put a fax machine in the back for customer use... I have heard of this before.. anyone know anything about this????

thanks

I think that you can do it with the Cell phone.

BMW check this:

This was my old install in my 300E, which due to its high visibility got broken into when left the car in the wrong area for an hour or two... I don't have any pics of the new intsall, but I can tell you that instead of up on the dashboard, my 4" LCD monitor is now in the ashtray housing, it looks almost factory and the slide-off woodgrain face from the ashtray door serves as a nice cover. If you want to see something great done in a Mercedes check out http://www.megacar.com

It was the inspiration for my project...

If I do go forth with this 500SEL 1993 on monday, watch out :)

Yes this can definatly be done.I would suggest you contact a local car audio place and they should be able to fix you up.Companies like Audiovox ,etc do offer fax machines for vehicles. Its quite a simple install, and the machines are quite small and efficient.
Good luck!
One thing though you will find that for a fax transmission the vehicle will have to be stopped and parked or else there will be too much noise and therefore errors.
